    AceInfo is currently seeking a PaaS Cyber Security Automation Engineer to support our federal project, in Kearneysville, WV.

    The PaaS Cyber Security automation engineer will work as a member of the PaaS Engineering Team. He/She will work with the PaaS Server Image and USCG Cloud platform team to automate the creation and maintenance of PaaS Windows/Linux Server Images that are DOD STIG’d, patched, and secure. He/she will automate continual compliance of STIGs, security settings, vulnerability remediation and other enterprise required configurations. He/she must be a team player and willing to interact with other people at all levels throughout the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Engineer automation for PaaS MS Windows/Red Hat Linux Server DOD STIG configurations via:
      • Bash/Zsh
      • PowerShell
      • Python/Jython
      • BladeLogic Server Automation
    • Engineer and automate PaaS MS Windows/Red Hat Linux Server DOD STIG configurations and security settings for new server provisions and continual compliance on servers.
    • Deploy automated PaaS MS Windows/Red Hat Linux Server DOD STIG configurations with automated common operating system update process for PaaS platform technologies.
    • Engineer and automate DOD STIG compliance reporting process
    • Work with applications to research and remediate OS STIG incompatibility issues and support those applications with the OSC CCB requirements and process.
    • Engineer automated STIGs, security settings, vulnerability remediation and other enterprise required configurations, across various platforms including:
      • Microsoft Windows OS
      • Microsoft IIS web
      • Microsoft SQL database
      • Red Hat Linux OS
      • Apache web
      • Oracle database
    • Continuous improvement of security posture and automation process.
    • Providing technical input for policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation on those policies/procedures.
    • Adhering to Change/Configuration Management procedures and policies.
    • Properly estimating work efforts and technical challenges (scoping projects).
    • Research and investigate problems, diagnose and provide resolution or viable solutions for hardware and software issues; appropriately escalating and reporting recommendations clearly and effectively to management and team.

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    Associate's Degree or 1-4 years of experience

    Required Training/Certification

    Comptia Security +

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • 5+ years IT engineering experience supporting projects and systems of similar size, scope and technical complexity to those supported under this contract.

    Additional Requirement:

    U.S. Citizenship is required for the position. Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation prior to starting.
