Inside Sales/Cylinder Filler - Airgas MidAmerica Buckhannon, WV

Airgas Mid America, Inc., a subsidiary of Airgas, Inc., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, & specialty gases & welding supplies, is seeking an Inside Sales/Cylinder Filler to join our Buckhannon, WV team.

Position Summary

The inside sales position will sell industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding equipment and hardgoods and tools to customers. This person will also respond to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in customers or those customers that call-in, restock store merchandise, stay current on product knowledge and various other duties as needed around the branch.

The cylinder filler position will operate equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders. Pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests will be performed before cylinders are released. Regular inspections of pumping apparatus and associated monitoring devices used in daily activities. Fills cylinders or containers to proper capacity and accurately maintains cylinder filling records and ensures that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations. Loads cylinders onto vehicles using hand truck or lift gate.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of the welding industry & customer service experience is a plus
Basic computer experience or knowledge a plus
